I love the innocent wide eyed expressions found on many of the mid century kitsch pieces. Pieces like this are becoming harder and harder to find in vintage stores. It's always a treat when you find one for a bargain, though!
Some of my favourite finds! The tall Siamese cats were from a local curio shop here in Melbourne, and one has a gold "Grizelle Japan" sticker on the bottom. The little red pair were a steal for $7 from an antique store in Nelson, New Zealand. I'm thinking they're about 1960s/1970's?

Uploaded another illo. Digital painting practice using a Forever New photo for reference. I added hydrangeas and orchids because they are some of my favourite flowers~
Fashion illustration featuring Bettina Liano's Ace Light denim and bustier top. Loving blunt fringes right now. This was a possible contender for the David Downton competition being hosted at Westfield.
Rockicide with her Miss Kika competition art tattoo! I'm always amazingly flattered when people enjoy my art so much they could wear it on their bodies — for ever! ♥
Welcome to FRANCEillustration... it was born on Friday the 13th, an auspicious date indeed.
